The God of Thunder storms in to save the day in a brand new clip for “Thor: The Dark World” released recently. The clip features Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and Volstagg (Ray Stevenson) raging war against their enemies as they try to fight their way through the battlefield. The Asgardians are having a tough time fending off the baddies and all seems lost for a moment, till Thor steps in welding his mighty hammer.

“Thor: The Dark World” will see the God of Thunder battle an ancient race led by the villainous Malekith who returns with and evil plot to destroy the universe. Forced to make sacrifices for the greater good, he reunites with Jane Foster and faces his biggest challenge yet that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand. Alan Taylor is at the helm of the project with Kenneth Branagh and Kevin Feige as producers. The sequel it is set to open in theaters on November 8.
