The official trailer for the “The Starving Games” has been launched. The quirky slapstick comedy which parodies “The Hunger Games”, follows the story in the Suzanne Collins book. We will see Panem and the deadly arena featuring many creative ways to finish off the contestants. The film will spoof other major blockbuster films as well, “The Lord of the Rings”, “Avatar” and “The Avengers” are in the mix plus many more.

The video shows main character Kantmiss Evershot (Maiara Walsh) who makes her way through the forest, running into all sort of trouble taking on characters from random pop culture figures like PSY, LMFAO and Angry Birds to name a few.
The film is supported by Brant Daugherty and Cody Christian (co-stars in “Pretty Little Liars”).”Scary Movie” creative duo Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer will helm the project expected to be released on November 8, two weeks before “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” comes out on November 22.
