Edgar Wright shared the first sneak peek at “Ant-Man”, as production for the movie resumed in Los Angeles. Wright upload a behind-the-scene picture on twitter, showing a male figure from behind in an indoor setting. Sporting the “Ant-Man” suit complete with a helmet, he is being filmed in what seems to be test shoot.

Wright wrote on twitter:

“Now I’m back in LA, it’s high time to finish a little something I’ve been working on…,”

Due to the complexity of the character and overlapping story-lines, there have been a number of debates and rumors suggesting what the plot will reveal. It has been confirmed that Ultron will not feature in “Ant-man”, many fans were wondering if Pim’s creation will make an appearance. We will have to sit tight and enjoy the test reel that was shared at the San Diego Comic-Con. Unfortunately the test reel does not reveal any specific details besides the fact that Ant-Man can dodge bullets and change his size.

Wright confirmed back in August that “Ant-Man” will be about Pym and not his robotic creation. Wright elaborated about his plan which excludes Ultron:

“It was never in my script. Because even just to sort of set up what Ant-Man does is enough for one movie. It’s why I think “Iron Man” is extremely successful because it keeps it really simple. You have one sort of — the villain comes from the hero’s technology. It’s simple. So I think why that film really works and why, sometimes, superhero films fail — or they have mixed results — because they have to set up a hero and a villain at the same time. And that’s really tough. And sometimes it’s unbalanced.”

Producer Kevin Feige and Wright said back in 2010, they were not going to rush things:

“Because that character isn’t one of their biggest properties, it’s not like a tentpole deadline,”

“It’s more like me and Kevin Feige saying, … ‘Let’s make a good script that works.’ “

No cast has been officially announced. “Ant-Man” was originally due to be released on November 6, 2015, but has been recently moved to July 31.
