James Spader cast as Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron

Some casting awesomeness for a Friday! News just came out that Marvel and director Joss Whedon have already cast their big bad villain in Avengers: Age of Ultron! That Villain is of course Ultron, and that actor is… James Spader.

Seeing as Ultron is a robot, we will probably see very little of Spader , physically. Ultron will be CGI which means Spader’s acting skills will have to carry the role. Luckily we’re not too concerned as Spader is an amazing actor who has won three Emmy Awards in his career. He’s stars in several movies and TV shows such as Boston Legal, The Practice, The Office, and an upcoming show called The Blacklist. He also most recently had a role in the Steven Spielberg film Lincoln.

James Spader cast as Ultron. Avengers: Age of Ultron will bring the Marvel Universe’s biggest heroes together again to face one of their biggest villains, and it’s set to be released on May 1st, 2015!
