Since Universal decided not to rush production and announced that the production had been postponed in order to give director Colin Trevorrow enough time to prep the shoot, many rumors suggested what is in store however much needed clarity is required to iron out some lingering questions. The “Safety Not Guaranteed” director Trevorrow’s rewrite of the script, promises impressive set pieces that will set the new Jurassic Park film apart from its predecessors. The script is still being worked on so at this point there are no juicy details to sink our teeth into regarding the film’s plot. Trevorrow sheds some light on rumors and explains his vision moving forward.
Trevorrow recently addressed said rumors as cited by Collider.com :
“I saw some of the rumors on the internet and I would have all kinds of red flags going off if I heard they were going to muzzle a T-Rex. So I would say don’t believe everything you read, there are way more insiders on the internet than there are in real life.”
Trevorrow speaks about trying to please two sets of audiences with the film:
“It’s important to make a movie for the fans but I also have to remember that there’s a lot of people who just couldn’t care less and need me to make a solid case for why the hell there’s a Jurassic Park 4 in the first place, and I want to make a movie for them too.”
Trevorrow’s intentions with regards to Jurassic Park:
“This is not a paycheck gig for me and it’s not the movie that I’m making so I can make the movies that I really want to make. I actually want to make a kick-ass Jurassic Park movie.”
