Mark Wahlberg Ready for Iron Man!
Wahlberg admits during a promotional interview for his latest Hollywood hit film “2 Guns” with Yahoo! UK Movies that he will indeed grab at the opportunity:
“I would like to take over the ‘Iron Man’ franchise for Robert Downey,”
He added:
“[But] it’s one of those things where I kind of like playing real people, [so] I’ve never been asked.”
Wahlberg also reveals that he almost starred in a Batman film:
“Once I was kind of being talked about for the Robin role in ‘Batman [Forever]’,” he laughs about the Joel Schumacher pic that turns out to be the “worst movie ever.”
“Somebody dodged a bullet!”
Wahlberg is currently filming “Transformers 4”, we will also keep a close eye on his other projects still to be released.
