We’ve seen countless reports suggesting that Ryan Reynolds Is expected to reprise his role as the titular character, but no confirmation has been received just yet. It became more apparent that we can expect the “Amityville Horror” actor to suit up as the anti-hero when the creator of the character, Rob Liefeld revealed at Comikaze 2014 that “Ryan is Deadpool”.
Ryan Reynolds Will Return as ‘Deadpool’
The actor himself took to Twitter to share a photo of the masked mercenary and wrote:
“Uh… It’s Chimichanga Time,” — Deadpool’s favorite Mexican food —

Hell yeah! “X-Men” Producer Lauren Shuler Donner once said that Deadpool will not be recast, insisting that Ryan Reynolds will portray the titular character and finally an official confirmation has been received. Tim Miller will direct the pic for 20th Century Fox, with an expected release date set on February 12, 2016. The script will be provided by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, while Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg is expected to serve as producers. Production reportedly is set to start in March.
