Additional casting news has been revealed for Fox’s Batman Prequel “Gotham”. David Mazouz has officially been cast as the as the young Bruce Wayne who will eventually become the Caped Crusader, and Camren Bicondova will take on the role Selina Kyle who will eventually become Catwoman. Young Bruce is described as “serious and soulful, and relies on the guidance and protection of Alfred Pennyworth and James Gordon”. Selina Kyle is described as “a teenage orphan who is suspicious and wholly unpredictable. She’s a street thief and skilled pickpocket who is dangerous when cornered”.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Jada Pinkett Smith joined the cast as Fish Mooney, the boss of Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a. The Penguin.

The show is described as following the younger days of Jim Gordon, as he learns the ropes in Gotham City and begins to encounter characters and villains that will become significant in later Batman stories. We can expect to see Batman’s infamous villains which include the Joker, the Riddler and Catwoman. “The Mentalist” creator Bruno Heller develops the one-hour drama. He executive produces and writes the pilot, which is in the process of casting. Danny Cannon also serves as an executive producer and will direct.
