The vampire film based on the fabled story of Bram Stoker has received a new title according to Cinemablend.com. Previously called “Dracula: Year Zero”, the story expected to explore the origin of Prince Vlad the Impaler, will now be referred to as “Dracula Untold”.

Director Alex Proyas was previously attached to serve behind the lens and “Avatar” actor Sam Worthington was rumored to be the male lead.
The film is planned for an October 3, 2014 release.
