“Breaking Bad” fans have waited patiently to see if Aaron Paul will be offered the opportunity to take on one of the most legendary roles in geek movie history. Yes, he is apparently eyed to play Han Solo. Paul has been a hot favorite to take on the coveted role according to rumors spreading all over the internet. Lucasfilm officially announced that Chris Miller and Phil Lord will direct the project, and since then, Paul may have confirmed his casting as Han Solo (or so many fanboys including GS is hoping).
Will Aaron Paul Play Han Solo in ‘Star Wars’ Spin-Off?
He took to Instagram recently and posted a picture of the “Star Wars” official Twitter profile along with a caption which reads:
“My dreams are coming true. #StarWars.”
Ok, we know it is extremely vague but is this the unofficial confirmation we have been waiting for?

We also base our excitement on a tweet Paul made last year saying:
“Who’s starting these rumors? This one is actually making me believe I have a job in 2015. Very exciting. #StarWars.”
It is all speculation and no confirmation has been received, but it’s fun to entertain the idea that Paul could be Han Solo! The untitled stand-alone Star Wars film II which will focus on an origin story about young Han Solo has tapped Lawrence Kasdan and his son Jon Kasdan to pen the script. Expect Han Solo to storm theatres on May 25, 2018.
