It is with great sadness that we share some of the best video moments of Robin Williams who passed away yesterday at age 63. The popular comedian and actor won an Oscar award for his role in “Good Will Hunting”, and other notable roles include “Mrs. Doubtfire,” “Dead Poets Society,” “Hook”, and “Good Morning Vietnam”. Williams rose to fame with his role as the alien Mork in the TV series Mork & Mindy (1978–1982), while establishing a successful career in stand-up comedy and the film industry. He received critical acclaim for his performances during his very successful career, which also include two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and five Grammy Awards.
We will forever remember him by one of his famous quotes:
“No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.”
I always felt that Robin Williams had a spark about him which unintentionally affected his audience in the best way. His passion for comedy, laughter, the quirks, and wonderfully random silliness will be sorely missed.
