“The Hunger Games” actor Wes Bentley has been cast as a “dark tormentor” in “American Horror Story: Freak Show”.
Tvline.com broke the news first, sating:
“Bentley will appear in the show’s two-part Halloween episode (tentatively set to air Oct. 21 and 28) as Eddie, a dark tormentor from Kathy Bates’ past who is hell-bent on revenge.”
Horror geeks are in for another wild season of “’American Horror Story” with the forthcoming “Freak Show” heading our way in October on FX. The “carnival” themed fourth season will be set in the 1950’s with Jessica Lange taking the lead in her fourth and final season. Sarah Paulson takes on the role as siamese twins Bette and Dot, Michael Chiklis will play a strong man who was married to Bassett’s character, and Jessica Lange will be playing a German ex-pat who is managing one of the last freak shows in the U.S.
Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy all play performers whom Lange’s character has rescued; Denis O’Hare and Emma Roberts are also in talks to return. Freak Show’s 13 episodes will track this group as they do anything to keep their business around.
