The friendly bunch over at Schmoes Know is at it again with a saucy rumor suggesting that “Zero Dark Thirty (2012)” star Jessica Chastain has been offered to join the upcoming fifth installment of “Mission: Impossible”.

The report says:
“For lo, a very trusted source of ours close to the production of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5 are saying that the filmmakers are looking to sign Jessica Chastain to star alongside Tom Cruise for an unspecified role (at the moment) but that it will indeed be a starring role.”
“Our source goes on to say that the offer is out to Miss Chastain to become Tom Cruise’s right hand woman; whether that means as a love interest or a fellow agent, we don’t know the specifics yet. All we know is, for now, Jessica Chastain has an offer and therefore, ball is in her court.”
Did we mention she is very easy on the eyes?
Chastain teaming up with Cruise will be completely bad-ass! “Iron Man 3” scribe Drew Pearce is tapped to write the script, and Christopher McQuarrie (“Jack Reacher”) is expected to take post behind the lens. The latest installment of “Mission: Impossible V” is set to be released on December 25, 2015.
Althought Chastain has not been confirmed to join the upcoming spy pic, fans of the attractive actress can expect to see her next in “Interstellar”, “Miss Julie”, “A Most Violent Year”, and Guillermo del Toro’s “Crimson Peak”.
