Idina Menzel joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots to sing her Oscar-winning song ‘Let It Go’ on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” which aired on Monday, March 3. They collaborated with the use of classroom instruments which include a triangle, wooden blocks, snare drum, xylophone and mini keyboard. The song that features in Disney’s “Frozen (2013)” soundtrack was named the Best Original Song at the Academy Awards. It took the top honors over Pharrell Williams’ “Happy”, Karen O’s “The Moon Song” and U2’s “Ordinary Love”.
