Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Conner will be retired in the upcoming “Fast and Furious 7”. According to The Hollywood Reporter the studio will “make use of the existing footage of Walker,” however additional scenes will be written to give Walker a proper send off “in a way that the studio hopes will satisfy fans of the franchise.”

Walker died with his good friend Roger Rodas on November 30 in a single car accident in Santa Clarita when the Porsche Carrera GT driven by Rodas hit a tree at 100 miles per hour. The James Wan directed movie was put on hold as the script was getting revised. The release date for the sequel has been moved from July 11, 2014, back to April 10, 2015.
