Paul Rudd has finally been announced as “Ant-Man” according to Thewrap.com. Marvel has been keeping the casting announcement under wraps for a while now, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Simon Pegg were rumored to take on the role as Dr. Hank Pym (aka Ant-Man). Gordon-Levitt will be busy with Neil Gaiman’s DC Comics book movie “Sandman” in the meantime.
Hank Pym is one of the most diverse superheroes in the Marvel universe. He is the famous scientist responsible for the invention of the “Pym Particles”, the substance that allows him to change his size.

Ant-Man is a quirky character and we are positive that Rudd will hit the lights out depicting this interesting superhero.

Edgar Wright (“Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”) will direct the script he co-wrote with Joe Cornish. “Ant-Man” was originally due to be released on November 6, 2015, it has been moved to July 31.
