The red band trailer for “Homefront” has arrived. The clip takes a closer look at the local drug kingpin named Gator Bodine, portrayed by James Franco. Gator shows he is not a man to be messed with as he pays a visit to a newcomer in his territory. The drug lord lives up to his title as he sadistically beats up their leader with what looks like a baseball bat.

Jason Statham portrays DEA agent Phil Broker, who crosses paths with Bodine after a playground altercation with Bodine’s bully son and Broker’s daughter. Things take a turn for the worst when Gator finds out who Broker really is and sets a plan in motion to bring him down.
Directed by Gary Fleder, “Homefront” was written by Sylvester Stallone, based on Chuck Logan’s novel of the same name. The film is supported by Kate Bosworth, Winona Ryder and Rachelle Lefevre. The film scheduled to be released on November 27.
