Do you remember those lazy summer days as a kid when you had dreams of making your own stuff in the future when you had nothing else to do during the school holidays? The time has finally come to set those dreams into action as we step right in to the future made possible by the XYZ Da Vinci Junior PLA 3D printer! This little thing is amazing and it’s accuracy will blow your mind. The 15kg, 420 x 430 x 380 mm 3D Printer packs a big punch considering it’s a small unit which probably makes it one of the best-designed and easy-to-use 3D printers on the market to date. The little dream-weaver requires no manual calibration and is ready to use straight out the box. Most companies who had the privilege of testing the XYZ Da Vinci Junior said that the little miracle is ready for use in less than 15 min once un-boxed.

The market entry-level compact printer has a modest build platform that can make objects as large as 5.9 inches cubed (150mm).  The printer performs on par with most other 3D printers when comparing the overall time spent to complete a project, it all depends on the size of the object, level of quality and so on obviously. You can expect a print job to take from half an hour to more than 10 hours depending on the aforementioned factors. The XYZ Da Vinci Junior is not perfect unfortunately, most complaints are directed at the slippery building surface which can be pinned down with three re-usable form-fitting bed tapes that cover the top of the build platform when in use. Some users also added a bit of glue to ensure the creations stay nice in place, not ideal, but works like a charm. Another drawback is the non-negotiable use of expensive Da Vinci products (when compared to other usable items such as filament) which cranks up some of costs for continual use.
