Lucasfilm has revealed the title of Star Wars: Episode VII and it is … Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The title reveal was announced today via StarWars.com. Shooting recently wrapped on the J.J. Abrams-directed film, with the rumor mill saying we’ll get our first teaser trailer for The Force Awakens soon.
Also rumoured is the ‘Episode VII’ wording being dropped from the official title. While this hasn’t been confirmed yet, that the graphic below doesn’t contain those words leads us to that Star Wars: The Force Awakens really is the full title.
