Geeks looking forward to seeing “The Amazing Spider-Man 3” will have to keep the cosplay outfits dry-cleaned for another two years according to a recent announcement by Sony’s Columbia Pictures. On Wednesday, July 23, the studio announced that the third installment is pushed back from 2016 to 2018. Is it because they need more time to figure out how to fix the mess they created in the second installment? At least director Marc Webb will have another two years to redeem himself with a proper sequel.
The studio is expanding The Spider-Man cinematic universe by introducing two Spider-Man” spin-offs. “The Sinister Six” is planned to be released on November 11, 2016, to fill the gap, while “Venom (2017)” is still waiting for an official release date. Nothing has been mentioned about the “The Amazing Spider-Man 4” release date that is set for May 4, 2018?
Gaming geeks familiar with the adventures of Nathan Drake on PS3 will have the privilege of viewing a big screen adaptation undertaken by Sony. “Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune” is set to be released on June 10, 2016. The date was previously booked by “The Amazing Spider-Man 3”.
