The “Star Wars Episode 7″ script is good to go, which means the film is finally set to move on to the production phase.  “Episode 7” helmer J.J. Abrams shared the good news at the TCA winter press tour to discuss his new TV show “Believe”. He has a completed script and will begin shooting in May, saying “That’s the current plan”.

He added:

“We have our script and we’re full steam ahead. Have script, will travel.”

Abrams remained extremely tight lipped about the story, saying:

“We can’t talk about story yet.”

He added that he has no details about the casting but said they will come “soon, and I look forward to that so that we can get past it and we can get on with it.” Abrams wrote the script with Lawrence Kasdan after Arndt bowed out of the project. “Star Wars Episode 7” is set to be released on December 18, 2015. The next two instalments, “Episode 8” and “Episode 9”, are slated to be released in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
