The Android 4.3 Samsung Galaxy S4 update is reportedly available in the UK, and the Android 4.3 Samsung Galaxy S3 update began rolling out for Vodafone customers in Ireland this week.

Check out the features for Android 4.3

The upgrade is available as an over-the-air downloadable patch by accessing the handset’s settings menus. Owners of the unlocked version of the HTC One rival will be able to complete to update, with network locked S4 users still needing to wait a while for each provider to carry out their own testing first.

The update should be released for more countries and carriers sometime in the very close future. Unlocked, unbranded versions normally receive the update first. Galaxy S4 users will also have functionality for the Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch which was previously only available if you owned a Galaxy Note 3 handset.

Samsung Galaxy S4 handset owners might have the bragging rights for having one of the most powerful handsets on the market running Android 4.3 soon, however the newly introduced Google Nexus 5 is sporting Android 4.4 KitKat! The race is on
