The superhero TV-adaptation train is still steamrolling ahead and it  doesn’t seem to be losing any momentum. One has to wonder when will it  end? We’re getting the one Marvel/ DC TV show after the other and they all seem to be making their way to 2,3 even 4 seasons. How do you keep   up with it? We’ve not even begun watching Legion yet and here’s a”reboot” for X-Men on TV called “The Gifted”. Ok it’s  not  a reboot, chances are we’ll meet some of our favourite X-Men in their early days of being a mutant.

To  the point, Marvel and Fox has released the first teaser trailer for the new X-Men series The Gifted. The Gifted was developed by Matt Nix (Burn Notice) who wrote the series’ pilot episode that Singer is directing. They are both producing the film alongside long time X-Men movie producers Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg as well as Marvel TV head, Jeph Loeb.

Action-adventure family drama THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

The series has a great cast that includes Blair Redford, Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Jamie Chung, Sean Teale, Natalie Alyn Lind, Emma Dumont, Percy Hynes White, and Coby Bell. The series is set to premiere this Fall. A full trailer for the series will be released on May 15th, so stay tuned for that!
