Spotify has made available their list of Most-Streamed Artist of 2014. British star Ed Sheeran has been crowned as the online king in the music biz with more than 860 million streams worldwide. His latest album, “X”, is also the most steamed album in the world with 430 million streams since its release in June. Sheeran ousted Eminem, Coldplay, Calvin Harris and Katy Perry for the most-streamed artist in the world title. Pharrell Williams‘ “Happy” is officially the top streamed song with more than 260 million plays globally, followed by Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be” and Calvin Harris‘ “Summer”. Perry and Coldplay are selected as the most streamed female and group around the world in 2014.

The hip hop kings ruled with Eminem nominated as the most-streamed artist in the U.S., followed by Drake and Kanye West. Iggy Azalea‘s collaboration with Charli XCX “Fancy” is the most-streamed track, followed by Perry’s “Dark Horse” and Williams’ “Happy”.
