Top 10 Most Watched Youtube Music Videos of 2014

The top 10 posts continue to flood the interwebs as we’re celebrating the top 10 of just about everything in 2014. As part of its year-end tradition, YouTube tallied up the most-watched music videos of 2014, and this year’s numbers proved that girls ran the show. Eight of the 10 artists were women, with some songs featuring two female singers. Last year’s top 10 list featured four male artists.

Unsurprisingly, the list featured celebrities we’ve spent most of the year talking about, including Taylor Swift and newbies Iggy Azalea and Meghan Trainor. Four of the top 10 artists even snagged Grammy nominations for Record of the Year. It was also a big year for the booty, thanks in most part to Nicki Minaj’s backside anthem “Anaconda.” Re-watch the videos below, and be grateful that these girls have finally ousted Psy from YouTube domination.
