15 Minute Uncharted 4 Gameplay Video

15 Minute Uncharted 4 Gameplay Video

To kick off Sony’s PlayStation Experience event today, Naughty Dog showed off 15 minutes of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End gameplay, ending with a release year reveal of “2015.” We were left drooling after this short clip that was shown at E3 earlier this year. In the trailer, we see Nathan Drake looking over a gorgeous shot of a jungle with a roaring sea below. Gulls fly over the rocks. His facial detail is excellent.

He asks, “Where the hell are you?” It’s not clear who he’s looking for, but the end of the video gives us a good idea. It transitions into gameplay, and he enters a dark cave behind him and flips on the flashlight. He climbs past waterfalls and slippery rocks. He exits the cave and comes out into a stunning cave covered in moss and foliage. Drake mentions “pirate treasure,” and checks his journal. Nolan North is back, and as Drake, he regularly quips about his dangerous adventures. He adds a note to his journal and scales a cliff wall using a climbing spike. From the footage, it looks a bit less obvious where you can climb, which makes the environment feel more natural.

This video is simply mind-blowing. It makes us want to get a PS4 just for this game! And that…is well done to Sony in our books.
