Ray Fisher says we can expect Cyborg to appear in DC’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice“.  Rumors about the appearance of the superhero surfaced months ago, but the studio declined to comment on the character’s involvement in the upcoming movie. Fisher finally broke the ice and told Entertainment Weekly that the character will have a minor role in the “Man of Steel” sequel before he’s getting his own movie.

The actor said:

“I didn’t know the extent to which DC and WB had planned on taking my character. When I signed on, I just wanted to be part of this world,” “But that specific information, I found out then and there. I didn’t think I’d be getting my own standalone film.”

Fisher also spilled the beans about the “Justice League” characters expected to unite for the first time on the big screen. He mentioned that he met Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor) on the movie’s set. We can also expect to see Ezra Miller suit up as Flash and Henry Cavill as Superman, whom Fisher didn’t meet as yet.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is set to be released on March 25, 2016.

For those of you not in the know, here is a good description for Cyborg, courtesy of dc.wikia.com:

“Cyborg, also known as Victor Stone, is a superhero who is half man and half machine. His body was destroyed in a tragic accident, but he was saved through experimental technology; his body parts have been replaced with a large arsenal of high-tech gadgets and weaponry, while constantly providing life support. Stone struggles with his humanity as a machine, although his advancements have made him an unstoppable powerhouse. He has primarily been a member of the Teen Titans, but he is also a member of the Justice League of America. Cyborg was created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, first appearing in DC Comics Presents #26. (1980)”
