Jess Greenberg is back in action after a 9 month hiatus from YouTube, and we have to admit that we missed her awesome rock covers. For those of you not familiar with the London-based singer, Jess took YouTube by storm when she uploaded a cover of David Guetta’s Titanium back in August 2012.  Exactly a year later her online career skyrocketed when she won the Totally Covered Summer contest with her acoustic version of Daft Punk‘s “Get Lucky”. We have been tracking Jess for a while now and posted an introduction article when we discovered her talents on YouTube.

Unfortunately some haters still insist that the beautiful musician relies on her aesthetically pleasing features to sell her perfect brand of YouTube clips. There is no denying that she looks particularly attractive in tight-fitting tops which obviously sells her appearance first, but merely saying that this is the only reason why her talents are appreciated is pure jealousy or tone deafness. The young lady sells “the full package” that works well for many attractive musicians with far less musical skills.

Our introduction article also received a fair amount of attention with many people responding with their point of view.

Kevin Gunn said:

“yes she is very talented and this is coming from a musicians point of view…if you close your eyes and look away you still hear a gifted voice and a guitar that keeps good time to meter…not perfect but good. Jess just happens to be Beautiful and talented she has the full package to take her singing career a long way”

It is no secret that sex sells and obviously people respond to what they see first. If a tight-fitting top and a guitar is all you see than I suppose you got what you were looking for. There is no denying that Jess excels at performing covers for some of our favorite bands. Any amateur musician that confidently covers Foo Fighters, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Nirvana, Lenny Kravitz, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin (to name a few of the bands and artists she covers), deserves respect. If it so happens that the tunes are delivered by a stunning brunette, even better!
