Director J.J. Abrams was kind enough to share some footage of the X-Wing Starfighter from “Star Wars: Episode 7”. The spacecraft is shown on a video clip taken on location in London while the helmer was promoting the UNICEF’s fundraising initiative, Force for Change.

Abrams says while standing next to the X-Wing Starfighter:

“People from over 119 countries have already participated and that’s incredible and we’re so grateful. But we’re still going, we have one week left,”

“We know how much Star Wars means to so many of you and we’d love to share the movie with you first while supporting this truly great cause.”

Geeks willing to make a $10 donation to the cause benefiting children in need will stand a chance to visit the London set and appear in “Episode 7”. For those of you interested to take part, be quick about it, there is only one week left! Abrams also mentioned that a second prize is up for grabs, one lucky Star Wars geek will win a private screening and have the opportunity of inviting his closest friends before the movie is released on December 18, 2015!

Other rewards for those who donate include limited edition posters; t-shirts; a lightsaber hilt; concept art and film stills from “Episode 7.”
