Some say magic filled the air when Warner Bros. announced that J. K. Rowling would be making her screenwriting debut with the first installment of a planned trilogy for her wildly popular “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. If you are not a believer yet, speak to Rowling geeks who are waiting in anticipation for the release of the first installment, set to hit theaters on November 18, 2016. In the meantime, Warner Bros. Studios will be hard at work to meet the deadlines for the first epic adventure, set to be filmed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the United Kingdom. Culture Secretary Sajid Javid made the announcement in an event that the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off is going to be filmed in the U.K.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” was written between the publication of the fourth and fifth “Harry Potter” series. The project will be produced by “Harry Potter” regular David Heyman, and Rowling is hired as the screenwriter. The book is set in New York, 70 years before Potter and the gang started their epic journey. The independent.ie says that “the magical creatures guide was one of the school of witchcraft and wizardry’s textbooks. Rowling has described it as an “extension” of Potter’s fantastical world.”

The multiple-award winning British novelist is best known as the author of the Harry Potter fantasy series which sold more than 400 million copies worldwide. The “Potter Series” became the best-selling book series in history, and was backed up by a series of films which became the highest-grossing film series in history.
