Joblo has the latest scoop for the hotly anticipated Marvel movie, “Ant-Man”. Comic book geeks have been waiting in anticipation for the storyline to be revealed ever since the announcement that Paul Rudd will take on the role as Scott Lang, and Michael Douglas will take on the role as the inventor of Ant-Man’s shrinking particles and equipment. The only logical take on all this to understand why we will have two protagonists in the superhero flick is to assume that Rudd’s Scott Lang will take on the role as “Ant-Man”. [Possible Spoiler Ahead!]

According to the latest scoop from the site, we can expect the following in terms of the titular character:

“Story begins with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) being a thief and single dad who has fallen on hard times and one day breaks into Hank Pym’s apartment and steals the Ant-Man suit”

The Villains:

“The main villain’s name is Darren Cross who, in the comics, runs Cross Technological Enterprises, a competitor company for Stark Industries and Oscorp. His cousin is the villain known as Crossfire. It’s unknown if this role will be played by Patrick Wilson or Corey Stoll.”

Ant-Man’s gear:

“The ANT-MAN suit will be much more elaborate than we’ve seen so far with the helmet being able to open and close much like Iron Man and an assortment of red lights all over the suit, again in “TRON” fashion. The helmet eyes will also glow red when closed. It’s said to be a much more complex and futuristic suit than we’ve seen so far.”

Ant-Man’s ant communication abilities:

“Ants (the actual insect) are the main ally and superpower for ANT-MAN in the film. Lang will speak to the ants via his helmet, just as in the comics, which is said to be a special element to the overall story.”

Ant-Man uses a cybernetic helmet for achieving rudimentary communication with ants and other higher order insects.
