From director George Clooney, the film stars George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, Bob Balaban, Hugh Bonneville, and Cate Blanchett. Speaking to Collider.com back in 2012, Kinnaman was asked what director José Padilha will bring to the film, he said:

“With RoboCop, I couldn’t be happier because it’s such a quality director. He’s a young master. I don’t know if you’ve seen Elite Squad 1 and 2, but if you haven’t, you really should see them. They’re quite incredible. So, he’s a very smart man who’s going to do a very smart movie. If you’ve seen those movies, you know he can portray action.”

While at Comic-Con 2013, Sullivan Stapleton spoke to the press about 300:  Rise of an Empire, when asked what he thought of the Frank Miller novel and Zack Snyder’s movie he said:

“Well, for me, they thought that I looked like the guy that played in the first one.  Just kidding.  I was part of the first one, and when I heard that they were doing a second one, I was very excited.  Actually, in this one, there’s a little bit of the Xerxes backstory, so it was real cool to try to bring some humanity to this character, and I was really excited about it.”

Godzilla

Release Date: May 16

Godzilla

Godzilla

The idea of another attempt to bring to life on of the most iconic monster movies in history wasn’t really at the top our list of things to be excited about.  The fear of another disappointing attempt to reboot the franchise left us feeling it will be better to let things be than go through another Roland Emmerich type film which failed dismally in 1998. Come to think if it, that should be the main reason to remake this film, provided you have the right people with the vision and passion to pay homage to our favorite city destroyer.

We believe that “Godzilla 2014” director Gareth Edwards is the right man for the job, he spoke with Shock Till You Drop back in 2011 and gave some insight regarding his vision for the film moving forward:

“I’m a big fan,”  ”I guess I will say I’m highly aware – and everyone involved is incredibly aware – of everyone’s opinions on what this film has to do and what it has to be. And no one will do anything but the right thing. Without addressing anything specific, everyone knows how important is to get it right.”

The trailer released really showcases his vision to “get it right”! Check out the first official trailer for Godzilla!

The film stars Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe and Aaron Johnson to name a few.

Synopsis:

“An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence”

In the Book of Exodus, Moses was born as a Hebrew at a time when the Pharaoh had commanded that male Hebrew children be drowned. The infant Moses was set adrift on the Nile in a basket, rescued by the Pharaoh’s daughter and raised in the royal family as a brother to the future Pharoah. According to the Biblical story, the adult Moses was commanded by God to go to Egypt and deliver the Hebrews from bondage. Scott is producing the pic alongside Zaillian and Peter Chernin for 20th Century Fox.
